75 Park

  • 75 Park, located at 75 Park Street in downtown Lewiston, provides space, mentorship, community, and support for professionals and entrepreneurs. Their co-working space and conference rooms are available for people looking for a local place to work, host a meeting, or host an event.

Maine Small Business Development @ AVCOG

  • The Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) is a regional planning organization supporting economic development, transportation, land-use planning and environmental initiatives in the Androscoggin region. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers business advice and resources to help small businesses start, grow, and succeed.

Bates College

  • A private liberal arts college in Lewiston that fosters academic excellence and community engagement. Bates often collaborates with the city on educational and cultural initiatives.

Black Owned Maine

  • Black Owned Maine is a nonprofit organization supporting and promoting Black-owned businesses and communities across Maine, including in Lewiston-Auburn.

Central Maine Community College

  • Black Owned Maine is a nonprofit organization supporting and promoting Black-owned businesses and communities across Maine, including in Lewiston-Auburn.

Community Concepts Finance Corporation

  • Community Concepts Finance Corporation provides affordable housing, financing for small businesses, and community development services to improve quality of life in Lewiston-Auburn and the surrounding areas. They provide financial literacy, consulting, support, and more.

Downtown Lewiston Association

  • The Downtown Lewiston Association works to elevate our community through collaboration, events, and support. The Downtown Lewiston Business District collaborates with other community groups to attract residents, business owners, artists and craftsmen, with initiatives from strategic zoning to programs that encourage new and existing business development and street and storefront beautification.

LA Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce

  • The LA Metro Chamber envisions a diverse, vibrant economic and cultural landscape in Central Maine, with the Lewiston Auburn Region as a hub of economic activity, innovation, ideas that influence, and actions that lead.

    By working together with their membership in support of business, education, and community, we make the Lewiston Auburn Region the place in Maine to live, work, and play.

Lewiston Public Schools

  • The Lewiston Public School District serves the City of Lewiston, offering educational programs for students from pre-k through high school.

Lewiston Regional Technical Center

  • Lewiston Regional Technical Center is a career and technical education center providing hands-on training and career preparation for high school students in Lewiston-Auburn.

Maine Black Chamber of Commerce

  • The Maine Black Chamber of Commerce supports Black entrepreneurs and businesses throughout Maine through advocacy, resources, and networking opportunities.

Maine Center for Entrepreners

  • The Maine Center for Entrepreneurs' mission is to build and lead a community of growth-oriented businesses in Maine, by providing the training, connections, coaching and mentorship they need to successfully grow their ideas, products and services. 

Maine College of Health Professions

  • A higher education institution in Lewiston offering programs in nursing and allied health to prepare students for careers in healthcare.

Maine Dept. of Economic & Community Development

  • Maine DECD promotes economic growth and community development across Maine by supporting businesses, tourism, and infrastructure investments.

Maine Film Office

  • The Maine Film Office supports filmmakers and production companies by providing resources, location scouting, and promoting Maine as a film-friendly destination.

MaineHousing

  • MaineHousing is an independent state agency that bridges public and private housing finance, combining them to benefit Maine’s low and moderate-income people. MaineHousing brings millions of new private and federal housing funds to invest in Maine to create safe, affordable, warm housing.

    The mission of MaineHousing is to assist Maine people in obtaining and maintaining quality affordable housing and services suitable to their housing needs. 

Maine Office of Tourism

  • Promotes Maine as a top tourist destination by showcasing its natural beauty, cultural attractions, and recreational opportunities.

Maine Technology Institute

  • Founded and funded in 1999 by the Maine State Legislature, MTI offers grants, loans, equity investments, and services to support Maine’s innovation economy. MTI supports new ideas, products, or methods with the potential to grow and diversify Maine’s economy and increase the number of quality jobs throughout the state through direct support of innovators and through support of programs and infrastructure that encourage innovation.

Roux Institute

  • A graduate-level learning and research institution in southern Maine, focused on digital and life sciences, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.

    The university launched the Roux Institute with a $100 million investment from technology entrepreneur and Maine native David Roux and his wife, Barbara. They joined with Northeastern to ignite their vision of a Portland-based hub to educate generations of talent for the digital and life sciences sectors and create new ideas through research.

SCORE Maine

  • A nonprofit organization providing free business mentoring and workshops to entrepreneurs in Maine.

Strengthen LA

  • A catalyst for positive change in Lewiston Auburn, Strengthen LA brings together community and business leaders to bridge the gap between career seekers and our local employers. Their collective efforts leverage and enhance existing workforce services, education, and training opportunities to create financial stability and support economic growth.

University of Maine, Lewiston Auburn Campus

  • A branch of the University of Southern Maine offering undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as professional development opportunities.
