A graduate-level learning and research institution in southern Maine, focused on digital and life sciences, entrepreneurship, and workforce development.
The university launched the Roux Institute with a $100 million investment from technology entrepreneur and Maine native David Roux and his wife, Barbara. They joined with Northeastern to ignite their vision of a Portland-based hub to educate generations of talent for the digital and life sciences sectors and create new ideas through research.
